J. Keith Jones is an award winning author of four books, the novel, “In Due Time,” “The Boys of Diamond Hill,” “Georgia Remembers Gettysburg” and “Echoes From Gettysburg: South Carolina’s Memories and Images.” He has published stories at Georgia Magazine, Gettysburg Magazine, Dew on the Kudzu and Thunder Sandwich. He is a winner of two Gold Medals and one Bronze Medal for History from Military Writers Society of America. He also won the 2017 Henry Timrod Southern Culture Award from the Military Order of Stars and Bars and the Jefferson Davis Historical Gold Medal from the United Daughters of the Confederacy. He is a native of Georgia and a graduate of the University of South Carolina. He now lives in North Carolina.
